Brooke Whitmire,CYSA
Director
Brooke is a Banks County native who graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Recreation Management.
Brooke is an active member of the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association and currently holds a Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) certification.
In October 2019, Brooke was
elected by her GRPA peers as
Secretary of GRPA District 7.

KIM McENTIRE, CPRP, CYSA
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Kim has worked at the Banks
County Parks and Recreation Department for 18 years. She
earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Sport
Management from Emmanuel
College.
Kim is a member of the
Georgia Recreation and Parks Association, the National
Recreation and Parks Association, and the North American Society
for Sport Management.
Kim holds a Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) certification and a Certified Parks and Recreation Executive
(CPRE) certification through the National Recreation and Parks Association. She is a GRPA Leadership I graduate.
Kim is currently pursuing her
Master of Science degree in
Parks & Recreation Management
at Clemson University.
